MYPs take part in Eco Action Day
As part of the Shipley Eco Action day held at the Kirkgate Community Centre on Saturday, Shipley MYPs Abigail Dunn and Jack Pearson ran a special worshop highlighting ways in which young people can recycle and reduce their carbon footprint.

The workshop included a shoot the hoop recycling game where people were challenged to throw the rubbish through the correct hoop to land in the recycling bin. The 'Digging Out' game challenged people to dig through a bucket of compost and find the various types of food and answer whether they were suitable to compost or not.
Young people were asked to make a carbon footprint pledge by drawing around their foot or hand and making their pledge to to something for the environment. The MYPs also passed out information leaflets to help people do their bit for the environment.
The event was organised by the Shipley Area Committee.
